Housing data from USA has been realised and they are weaker. In August we noticed drop in sales on house market. National agancy Realtors reports that sales dropped to 5.22 M (-0.9 %). Consensus was that data will rise to 1.1% to 5.45 M. July's rise was also revised from 5.38 M to 5.39 M. Those data are important becouse they influance the GPD, rise of house prices and the number of transactions. However, the last month's drop could influance the 2nd quarter GDP.

US EMPLOYMENT ISSUE Affects Currency Trading et.al.
The last update data of employment report I gathered was June 2014, after one month as per the newly reported data, the result is impressive in favor of US economy. A healthy net gain of 217,000 jobs in May confirms our expectation of a faster hiring pace in the latter half of 2014. By year-end, monthly job creation should be running at about 230,000 a month, with a total of 2.6 million workers added to payrolls over the year. Monthly gains so far this year have averaged 214,000 a month.

Fed says it will await more evidence before QE taper
Highlights of the October 30, 2013 Federal Reserve’s FOMC statement:
- Fed funds rate held at 0-0.25%, as expected
- Monthly bond purchases remain at $85 billion/month, as expected
- No change to forward guidance on interest rates
- Fed says data since Sept meeting generally suggests economy continued to expand at a moderate pace
- Repeats that downside risks to the outlook have diminished on net since last Fall
Many US economic data points still unscheduled
The key inflation reports have also been rescheduled but a number of data points are still without a time. The main one is retail sales but factory orders, trade balance industrial production, housing starts and the CFTC positioning data still have no set time.
I’ll keep an eye out for any changes but for now, existing home sales are the only thing on the US calendar for Monday.
