Hello Dukascopy Community and Members,
First of all I'd like to thank Dukascopy for such opportunity that they provided for us and keeps on doing amazing work for new traders and traders that have knowledge. My coming to trading started in 2010 when first I've tried demo and started watching videos on youtube about trading and I really liked. But was not that active as now thanks to Dukascopy. Later on I found out that I can join trading competitions and win real money. That excited me, coz I can learn and trade at the same time and win real money. In 2013 I joined Dukascopy Community and find out a lot of competitions on different subject.
Since it became my favorite place. If you look at my trading history, I don't have perfect trading strategy or perfect trade executions. Al traders make mistakes. And from mistakes we learn. In January I lost my initial almost 100k and in February I didn't place much trades, in a matter of fact I was not pushing hard till March. In this 1st quarter in Grand prix I was top 30 and in March I started to trade JPY crosses, tried to follow discipline and not to overtrade. My trading strategy was Support/Resistance and RSI indicator. So this helped me a lot I think. When I managed to make over 250k and was top 20 in Grand Prix i said to myself that I can make it to top 3. With the discipline and simple trading strategy as you can see I made it to top and became Trader of the Year and Grand Prix 12 month winner.
I'm very grateful for the opportunity Dukascopy giving to its members and making it better every day. I'd like to thank everybody who supported me and thanks to all Dukascopy support team and Dukascopy members. And I wish all of you the best trades and successful year.
