My equity stands at 68K after the first week of the November's contest. I mistakenly expected a hawkish hike from the BOE on Thursday and though got a relatively good price on GBP/USD ahead of the decision. I should've tightened SL immediately as I got the chance when the pair spiked after the decision. That would have reduced my loss from 100 pips down to just 25 pips. The second trade was admittely a bit of a "revenge" trade but I did think we would get a bounce of some sort. I exited for a 1 pip loss when I realized the pair was going down not up. So, again, not an ideal start to the month, but there's almost four full weeks left in it.
Fundamental Analysis Contest
I've been on a great streak in this contest in recent weeks. I ended the Halloween edition on the second place, with 171 performance (13:3), 99 social and 55 bonus points. I shared the same number of points with another senior member, who ended up taking the first spot. Congrats to him. I would like to thank to Dukascopy and to all DFC members for their support.
