GBPUSD OUTLOOK FOR JUNE 6-8, 2016

Yesterday, we saw a massive sell off on the GBPUSD pair. Not quite a surprise to traders for many people have been expecting a little
bit more selling so that they can position for the impending buy trades.
I have personally marked out 1.2874 as support for the present day and right about now, price just touched the level.
I expect some decent buying on this pair until 1.3150 level.
My stop loss is just below the day's low at 1.2790
Let's see how this one plays out.

THE RANDY SOUTH AFRICAN RAND

In recent times, the South African Rand has been on the radar of many traders as it gave signs of a polarity change indicating a long term buying of this pair.
As is often seen in the financial market, investors usually want to get the best possible pricing , they always love to have a catbird position as regards their entries. It therefore should not be surprising to expect price to trade towards the building support before the flight to the upside takes place.
Just before Frankfurt close today…

GBPJPY - Outlook For The Rest Of The Week

Hello everyone,
today, the Pound-Yen posted a very stellar performance rallying over 180 pips. After a currency pair has performed so brightly, it is usual to find traders who will want to buy the pair at the end of day. In their heart they think that having performed so brightly, there will be no better time to buy apart from now that the steam is still on and the engines revving. This decision has often turned out to be flawed as traders get badly burnt doing this very act.
A wise trader and b…

GBPUSD: FRIDAY IN FOCUS

Hi everyone,
GBPUSD is presently having a motive wave to the downside which should terminate at 1.4019
From that level, I expect some buying to re-test the just broken daily support level. This move should extend to 1.4144-4160 region from where price should continue to the downside to retest support at 1.3871
Let's see the expected trajectory again:
1. Present sell till 1.4019
2. Buy till 1.4144-1.4160
3. Sell till 1.3871
Let's see how this plays out.
Happy trading everyone.

USDJPY STILL IN FOCUS

Hi everyone,
earlier this week, I made a post about the USDJPY and how that the radar of traders will be on this pair.
Yesterday, it pierced through the 111.06 support and dipped over one hundred pips.
This pair has now formed a new support at 110.23 and should head (in my opinion) for 111.55 around where it broke daily support some weeks ago.
If it breaches 110.90 it will be fine to exit the long trade and wait for the market to show its intent again.
Again, I ask the market to be the final arb…

USDJPY - CALLING FOR ATTENTION

Hello Traders,
last week Friday, we had the release of the US job data, the market witnessed strength in the USD. Most currency pair moved hundreds of pips within a few hours. The USDJPY stood almost as an exclusive exception to this rule, changing by only about 80 pips. This got my attention.
After doing a little bit of technical analysis on this pair over the weekend, I observed that price might be ready for some decent 300 - pip rise.
Support on 4hr time frame at 111.06 and within the micro-s…

LAST DAY OF CONTEST

Hi Traders,
today is the last day of the traders' contest for the month of August. I was just thinking about how the standings will be at the end of the trading day. Could there be a huge re-arrangement in the standings? Would some traders add impressive profit to their account before the end of the trading day? Would there be some others that will loose a huge part of their profit?
This one thing I've learnt in life:
Learn to fight with everything you have until the final whistle is blown!

I've spent a long time looking for suitable patterns and indicators. I am content at that level now. My thoughts now are to stop. Go back in history and read the charts until I am fluent. And then to start again. :) :)

THE CONTEST DRAWS CLOSER TO THE FINISH LINE

Hi Traders,
in a few days from now the contest for the month of August would come to an end. I am of the opinion that many traders have learnt new things about their personality and trading preferences during this one month period. Here is my honest advice to traders:
The time and effort put into the financial markets will pay off in due time.
Do not despair or be discouraged by the many negatives you are seeing presently.
Have a pleasant day everyone.

You should take into account purpose of Trading contest. Award prices only for fun? Or separate skilled signal providers from "luckers"?
Signal followers like consistent profit, not one month 500% and 11 months -100%/month. Signal followers on live accounts can make turnover . Organisers of contest earn fees from turnover on live accounts.
About blog writing. I guess purpose is uncover some of traders personality, trading style, trading ideas. Else all top-traders would be only anonyme nicks.
I agree that it could be decreased. It might be 1 blog per 1 week for 1 point per week. :)

TRADERS DEVISING CREATIVE METHODS OF SCORING HIGH IN CONTEST

Hi everyone,
in recent times, I have noticed that some traders have found out how to score high in this contest. Many of them do not place so much focus on the percentage profit they make rather they look at other ways of gaining points like the blog posting, getting subscription of their signal service etc.
I really must commend them for such "witty inventions."
This month's contest will come to an end in just a few days. I wish all participants the best!
Happy trading everyone.
