UK Retail sales disapointed - from -0,1 to -1,9%, but GBP picked up to 1.237 at the evening, because traders weren't happy with the inauguration speech. Low dollar policy is taking effect , or what, but this can change at the end of the week(durable goods orders).

ECB left the rate unchanged, despite Eurozone inflation continues to point upwards. German Final CPI jumped 0.7%, up from 0.1% a month earlier. As expected, the Bank of Canada maintained the benchmark rate at 0.50 percent on Wednesday. However, a pessimistic outlook from the BoC sent the Canadian dollar tumbling 1.5 percent (1.329).
