56K after the second week of the contest

Equity up to 56K from 53K a week ago. Have about 10K to work with.
USD/JPY: As stated last week, this one has to work or I'll call it a month.
CAD/JPY: Was looking to add to short yen trade on this one but missed it and didn't want to chase it higher. There will be better opportunities to get long.

Weekly review

Started the May contest with some sloppy trading. Equity at 53K. Have only about 10K to work with but a recovery is possible.
CAD/JPY: Wanted to catch a move higher but breakout proved to be a false one. Should have exited this one earlier.
GBP/JPY: An attempt to jump on a momentum move lower. Shorted right above the support. Didn't work out but loss was contained.
USD/JPY: Entered this one as a recovery trade. It will either work or I will call it a month early.

139K in April with one trading day to go

Ended the fourth week of the April contest with 139K. Down from 143K a week before. Have about 60K to work with. Will probably call it a month at this point.
EUR/USD: An attempt at a long that didn't work out. Later, was trying to short it during ECB press conference but wasn't decisive enough and the pair went lower without me.

143K ahead of the final week of the April contest

Ended the third week of the April contest with 143K. Down from 173K a week before. Have about 65K to work with.
EUR/USD: Could have squeezed a bit more out of this one but early SL adjustment was a right thing to do.
USD/CAD: Thought we'd have gotten a retest of lows after the BOC. Didn't happen. Small loss though.
AUD/USD: Chased this one higher and got punished. Extending SL was a mistake, should've tightened it instead.

173K after the second week of the contest

Ended the second week of the April contest with 173K. Have about 100K to work with.
EUR/JPY: Tightened SL after the break higher. Wanted to re-enter lower but expected deeper pullback didn't materialize at that point.
EUR/USD: It's often tricky to buy a third wave because it's just too obvious but this one worked nicely and swiftly.

A decent start in April

Ended the first week of the April contest with 140K. Have about 80K to work with.
EUR/JPY: Not an ideal entry price, but is playing out as expected. Would like to hold it to 132 - 133, if it gets there.
USD/JPY: Good entry. It was one of those when I got away with trailing stop almost to the pip. TP hit.

Back to square one

Back to square one (well almost) ahead of the final week of the March contest with equity at 92K, up from 59K a week ago. Have about 40K to work with.
CAD/CHF: Wanted to hold this one a big longer but then took profits near the initially projected target as risk sentiment deteriorated on Friday.

A miracle needed

Ended the second full week of the February contest with equity at 59K, down from 115K a week ago. The remaining trade will need to work or I'm out for the month.
EUR/CAD: Technically, the idea was fine but the mistake was to go against fundamentals (dovish Poloz). Should've exited this one as it became clear that it wasn't going lower.
CAD/CHF: Same as the above but this one may still end up working.

Recovery in the first week of the contest

Managed to recover equity to 115K after the dip to 64K last week. I now have about 65K to work with.
EUR/USD: Decided to take profits ahead of the ECB decision.
EUR/JPY: First took a small loss but then catched the bottom and made a nice profit.
USD/CAD: Risky counter-trend trade. Was hoping for a quick spike down on the BOC decision.
GBP/CAD: Another counter-trend trade that should've been passed.

Started the March contest on the back foot

My equity stands at 64K after the first two days of the March contest. Have about 20K left to work with. The next trade will either put me back in the game or I will call it a month.
EUR/JPY: An attempt to jump on the momentum move. There was little follow through, SL was hit on the same day.
GBP/JPY: Similar as EUR/JPY. This one actually followed through but not before taking me out. In hindsight, I should've used wider stop losses.
EUR/CAD: A risky and completely unnecessary counter-trend atte…
