Once I have been told a funny story.
The girl told me about her dates with guys from internet. She had many dates and she conclused that it's not right that the man pays because all these dates are may be not serious and loosing of time. So why the men should always pay? What if they meet with different girls every day? She worried about men and didn't want to owe them.

Hope all of you had productive Monday.
Recently I was thinking about financial relationships between man and woman in modern world and I am gonna tell you my oppinion.

If this question is arising then its a sign that relation is not very strong. And if it doesn't matter to anyone then its a sign that you have developed trust and faith. And if its a first date then the one who requested the date will pay. LOL )))))));

Slavic mentality is very common. Pity that its in russian and English-speaking members cannot listen to his opinion. I would be very interested to see - what they think about what he said :)

It is contraindicated to such subject to meet and build the relations with the girl - let his friends to  wash the floors, erase, iron, cook food, wash the dishes, clean the apartment, take out garbage and so on.
  In turn the girl also has to leave pleasant impression about herself. It is absolutely optional to demand from the guy on the first appointment an expensive dish at restaurant.

After all not how many money to spend the main thing for the girl, and how many attention to pay to her. Always there are alternative options - walk in park, visit of the museum, gallery, picnic, joint creativity.

1. То, что мужчина должен всегда удивлять свою даму я считаю, что это не старомодно. А наоборот придаёт уверенность в том, что ради тебя готовы даже и серенаду спеть под окном.
2. На свидании мужчина должен всегда обращать внимание на своё поведение на то, как он выглядит перед дамой. Как ведёт разговор. И самое главное должен стараться уделить своё внимание даме с которой пришёл куда-либо. Будь это ресторан или кинотеатр или просто пригласил в гости к своим друзьям.

да мужчина всегда должен показивать серьозность своих намерений на свидание. А у меня било такое что парень пришол на свидание и даже цвети не принес.

Дорогие девушки. Если мужчина впервые с вами встретился и не пришёл с цветами или хотя бы розой. Можно понять, что особо серьёзных намерений на длительные отношения не планирует. А может быть и по другому. Просто не любит или никогда не дарил цветы и не знает как это делать.

Платить или не платить вот в чем вопрос?
В Германии в порядке вещей, когда девушка и парень платят каждый сам за себя, но это исходит не от того что там уровень жизни больше нашего и что девушки там и женщины самодостачные, и могу платить за себя. Просто на самом деле немецкие мужчины они жадные от своей природы, ну сложился у них такой порядок вещей в обществе.
Что касается Украины, моей родной страны, на этот вопрос можно посмотреть с другой стороны, здесь большинство девушек ну просто обожают…

Для меня это не особо имеет значение кто платит...главное чтобы было хорошо вместе. НО...мужчина должен нести какую-то ответственность...я считаю плохим тоном когда мужчина говорит "Плати за себя сама", особенно на начальной стадии отношений...или тем более на первом свидании...я не была в такой ситуации, но, думаю, что почувствовала бы себя не комфортно.

Вот приближается вечер и сегодня у меня свидание c таинственным парнем, с которым мы познакомились несколько дней назад.... Перед свиданием я задумываюсь о том, что одеть, о чем будем говорить и т.д., но меня никогда не волновал вопрос - кто будет платить...

Возможно, потому что существует мнение: " Платит тот, кто приглашает". А я никогда не приглашала на свидание мужчин

but the first idea which came to my mind, was not about Money we pay for our dinner, but Energy we share between us.

Of een man hoort te betalen bij een date... In nederland is het heel normaal dat de rekening gesplits word.
Maar als je een echte man bent dan betaal jij de rekening en zorg je er ook voor dat de vrouw het niet betaald!
Bij vriendschappen is het een ander verhaal, en het hoeft ook niet zo te zijn dat de man ALTIJD hoeft te betalen... maar bij de eerste date..
Al ben ik wel een vrouw die liever zelf betaald, en ik ben ook de soort type vrouw die dan zelfs voor de man betaald, waarom? ik wil graag…

@nessa I am glad you reply. Thanks. Some men are even serial killers... But inside is what I am curious about - surely they must respond to a gentle "touch"... And, if so, are they not actually gentle themselves ? Complicated but that's my question. Upbringing, environment, culture,... Endless list of things that change the outer but am curious about the inner ? Possible or am fishing I in the wrong waters ?

Well, I don`t think that a man HAS ALWAYS to pay for a girl. But it`s coomon practice in Russia when a guy pays for a girl. Kinda tradition. And it`s important for a girl - to feel herself like a week, gentle and helpful creature.

In South Africa, I prefer to pay my own way - unless I was dead sure that he could be my man. I don't think the men like it but I don't care.
