The GBPNZD bullish trend is still in act , this trend began in the 2017 ( after the tumble caused by the Brexit ) and the moving average of long period and RSI oscillator showing as it should continue also in the coming period .
In this case the main hurdles will be the Fibonacci resistance , the first one , that should to be overtake in short , is 38,2% level then we have 50% that in my opinion will be reached for Oct

The pound continue...

The pound continue to remain weak , the cable is in red for almost 3% from the past Monday as the GBPJPY-2% and GBP AUD -1,3 % .The interest rate increase ( 25 points) done in the previous week appear useless from this point of view .It is in oversold now , so considering the important economic data that will come Friday it could to be the moment for open some long position on the GBP

The GBPNZD appear well supported at the moment , it is above the moving average of long period(200) and the RSI oscillator is to 58 . Two strong bullish signal
Continuing on this way it could easily breach the 38.2% resistance and reach the 50% level ( Fibonacci ) for September , at least in my hypothesis .

The GBPNZD failed to breach the static support placed to 1.89 ( at least in stable way ) and remain above the moving average of long period , so the main trend remain bullish
A trend that is underlined on this other chart ( red channel ) and that could lead the pair to reach the static resistance provided by Fibonacci ( 50% )

Despite the weakness...

Despite the weakness viewed on the UK inflation rate in April ( 2,4%) that disappointed the expectation causing a correction on the Pound , i 'm still confident about the future of the GBP because the technical analysis of long period show as GBPAUD; GBPCAD and GBPNZD remaining in bullish trend , so the latest correction could to be good moment for do some bet ( bullish of course) .

The gbpnzd recorded some weakness in the recent period ( red candle) as show the Stochastic oscillator , but despite it the main trend remain bullish with the pair well above the moving average of long period
In this other chart the situation appear more clear, it easy see as the pair is going toward the static resistance provided by Fibonacci ( 50% )

Profit swings with GbpNzd and GbpAud shorts
