USD/CHF back above 0.98

USD/CHF broke above the pivotal 0.98 level, after spending one week below it. Position in the futures market is net short, but not at extreme levels, so there might still be some upside potential. Trendline, drawn off of October and December highs, is the area to keep an eye on.

here we are working in week end even if .. but it s a preparation for the next week
as we see here from our report on NZD
more increasing in long position on NZD
the long position increasing and for that i m going to buy it in the next week againt all the currencies
actually i m searching on COT for more the weakness currency to be more predictable to this idea according to analyse the statement

Cable awaits the BOE

Today is perhaps the biggest day for the pound since UK EU referendum. The BOE is widely expected to cut the official bank rate to 0.25% from 0.50% while many also expect it to come up with some form of lending and/or asset purchase program.
The stakes are high and, depending on the outcome, there could be a large reaction either way. COT report showed a record net short position last week and it may take a truly bold action by the bank to send the pair below 1.30.

Recent COT Report indicates speculators heavily sold Sterling & Euro and bought Yen & New Zealand Dollar instead. Yen is considered a safe haven currency and under current circumstances it is logical to see such surge in Yen buying. Moreover there was also lot of demand for US 10 Year Treasury Futures, which indicate that traders sentiment is shifting towards risk aversion.

i think from the chart on gbp/jpy it s over sold for the jpy increase alot more than 400 pip on this pair . from the cot i think increasing for the buying position and i wish it s the time to buy jpy
