Greatness requires dedication and sacrifice,period. Being good at something requires a fair amount... being great requires
a huge amount. If you truly desire greatness -- or simply to be great at what
you do -- then much sacrifice is required.
Asked to explain why a few people truly excel, most people offer one of two answers.
The first is hard work. Yet we all know plenty of hard workers who have been
doing the same job for years or decades without becoming great. The other
possibility is that the elite possess an innate talent for excelling in their
field. I assume that Mozart was born with an astounding gift for music, and
Warren Buffett carries a gene for brilliant investing!
My talent is sport! Specifically Swimming!
In my video I speak In Italian (because I want show you that my talent is language
too! – Italian, English and Croatian), and I said:
I was very talented and successful famous swimmer in Croatia (before in Ex-Yugoslavia) with national record in 100 m butterfly. I was first woman in Rijeka which swam 100 freestyle under 1 minute. Still today in Rijeka people recognize me lika a great swimmer! So honored and pleased.
I was in Croatian representative and I won first historical medal for independent
Croatia in the international European championship. I was a candidate for
Olympic Games in Barcelona '92, but because of war in my country on these days
the Croatian swimming representative and Olympic committee decided not to go!
What a pity! We was war generation with lot's of casualties. We just have to
survive this period of life!
Now I work on and develope my other talents. I like art, fashion and most of all
Forex trading. I hope that forex will become my big talent. I can't swim now
for you here, because I was champion 20 years ago. Because of swimming I have
the elixir of aging gracefully and still in my 39 (almost 40) years I look like
a girl! Luckily now I have a brain too! :P
I wish to show you my newspaper clippings, photos, medals and trophies I won
during my great talented swimming career. For me this is very emotional!
You know that my married surname Pehar mean a champion cup, bowl or trophie in english.
