have you ever taste Czech beer? We call beer in Czech republic "pivo". The beer has a long history in our country. The most famous Czech beer brands are Pilsner Urquell and Budweiser Budvar, Velkopopovický kozel, Gambrinus, Staropramen, Krušovice, Bernard.
Budweisser is brand with Czech roots – It is one of the most valuable brands in the whole world. There is a town in Czech republic where was original Budweisser brewed – České budějovice – during 2.nd world war called Budweiss (and still in german language). No body doubt that there is something wrong when USA liberated Czech republic, and brought this knowledge and original Budweisser – Budvar had to go infront of law-court with US brand. But try US Budweisser and the one form Czech and make your own judgement. Sad about this story is that it wasn´t last incident of this kind.
