Victoria Falls - a legendary landmark, which attracts tourists from all over the world. Here the mighty Zambezi River drops down, forming a water curtain length of nearly 2 kilometers. Indeed, water spray rising from the falls, forming clouds, far away like smoke. Its name was given by David Livingstone, the discoverer and first white man who saw it in 1885. He decided to call in honor of Queen Victoria. When local natives accompanied him to the waterfall and shown him how a 546 million liters of water per minute are bombarded with a crash in the 100-meter abyss, David Livingstone was so shocked that he immediately gave it the name of the Queen.
