Recently I hear a lot about insomnia. A lot of people nowadays are suffering from that. It is mostly happening because of stress and preassure around. However, there are lot of techniques exist which really able to help to relax your body and mind. Moreover, lots of factors of our life make a strong influence of our quality of sleep as bad as good as well.
Today I want to tell you about one of those factors and its food.
All of us already know that we are what we eat and we should watch carefully what to choose among all the variety of products as food has strong influence on the quality of our life in general.
Some people like to go to sleep for empty stomach with a light feelings inside but most of people can't fall a sleep when starving. I belong to the second part as well))) Thats why "Not to eat after 6pm doesn't work with me".))) So it is better to have dinner 3 -4 hours before the bed time. However, it happens sometimes that I feel really starving before going to sleep and I need to eat something otherwise I won't be able to fall a sleep. So I found out which food will stimulate the body to relax and after eating you can go to bed straight away:
  • fresh spinach
  • banana
  • cashew nuts
  • glass of yogurt
  • water
  • dietetic crisp bread
All these products contain potassium which is natural muscle relaxant. You can mix these foods like you want.
However there are also products which will stimulate your nervous system and after eating you won't be able to fall a sleep for the next few hours for sure:

  • any spices including all types of paper
  • sugar
  • chocolate (even dark)
  • alcohol
  • heavy food

Believe me guys this list works 100%. Especially if you are have problems with sleeping any glass of wine or cheeseburger don't worth your next day fatigue.
