Humility is a virtue. Quite, dignified self-confidence is the mark of the civilised man, while boasting is for those who project outwards arrogance because they lack inner assertiveness.

Having said that,

I'm number one! I'm number one! Woo hoo!

Now I have reached 1st financial position in the trader contest, I might still do some trading to keep my lead intact and help towards the quarterly performance contest, but the main obstacle to my coming first in terms of points in the trader contest is the points from other sources such as... blog posts.
So what do you all want to hear about? Trading strategy? Stoicism? Overcoming cognitive biases that impact trading performance? Quantum physics? The meaning of life? Pictures of cute kittens? I'll do requests.

I suppose I should also do some technical analysis. Well, remember the EUR/USD line I posted yesterday, where I said if it breaks, people will panic? Well, it broke, people panicked and the price crashed. Where next? Well, as some people point out it is oversold on the RSI, but I have seen over-reliance on such indicators cost people dearly during crashes - its been oversold on the 1-hour RSI for over a day now, and it just keeps crashing. The indicators I use say that the crash may not be over yet, but equally there is going to be a correction at some point, so don't go long and keep an eye on your shorts.

The pound hasn't hit its line of resistance yet, and combined with other indicators I think a little more shorting is advisable.
