If you're like me, you've been putting off creating a Visual JForex strategy.
Although the fine folks at Dukascopy have made it very easy to write a strategy, I find it still hard to sit down and get it done. In high school, I was able to take an introductory class on Visual programming which I enjoyed but never followed up on. There were just too few circumstances that called for me knowing how to code a computer program.
Now that I am trading though, things have changed. That coding knowledge can be turned into cold hard cash if only I sat down and did it!
That got me thinking... What's the best way to get something done? As a team, of course! So I'm calling out all those people who haven't been able to sit down and write their first strategy. This weekend, let's do it together.
If I get even 1 person to commit to completing a strategy this weekend, I will do the same. Not only that, but I will try my best to help anyone that decides to participate. Please keep in mind though... I'm not a coding expert but I do want to help to the best of my abilities.
Below are some of the ideas that I have written down over the last few weeks. During my trading, I have noticed a few different patterns that I knew would be too hard to manage manually, but if we could write a strategy it could be very profitable. I cannot guarantee that any of these are good ideas,, but this is just to get the ball rolling and the conversation started.
