I enjoyed this movie. The story line was interesting enough and the acting was excellent. Rami Malek got the character fantastically and brought a magical charm to the film. It was the perfect movie for him to transition to the big screen and show off his phenomenal acting skills. I especially liked the part when he left the band and was isolated from his family and friends because of his lover and the story of how he came to realise that his lover was the reason for him losing contact with his friends and the band. I enjoyed this part because it showed the lack of love Freddy Mercury had for himself and how in the end he had the strength to go back to Queen and to start to love himself. The moment when he leaves Paul in the rain was very touching for me. It showed the inner strength of the character and the rain made the scene extra powerful because of the way he walked through it without care because his pain was more overwhelming for him to care about getting wet and cold. Maybe even in a way it helped the main charachter transfer his emotional pain into physical. Another scene I liked was when Mercury first asked to join the band. I really enjoyed the confidence of his character in that scene and throughout the film.
Overall it's a very enjoyable movie and I recommend seeing it without any expectations.
