It's been a year now that the Dukascopy Trader contest has been running. One year ago, on the 1st of December 2010, we've witnessed the first numbers changing in the contest's registration counter. Since then a lot of things have changed, many new functionalities have appeared, we've undergone though a major redesign of the competition, numerous rules amendments etc. Yet, this process is far from being over and it seems that the plans and expectations are emerging faster than we are ready to handle them. Good news for the participants - the contest will continue its development along with the Dukascopy Forex Community and we promise a lot of interesting features to appear.
November 2012, the 12th month of competition, has brought us an intense battle of our long-term leaders - Skytrader and Rahulkghosh. A lot of discussions about the rules and, especially, popularity aspects have been up. We do track and collect those opinions and may assure that they are taken into account in the development process.
Unfortunately, rules' violations are still a typical problem we face. This month, we've been forced to disqualify permanently the trader occupying the 10th position - sarfrazfx, which was noticed in multiple registrations. On the positive side of the final evaluation - trader StevenSeagal received 15 bonus points from Dukascopy for his consistently informative comments and trades' justifications with which he merited to overtake nickel01 in the final standings.
