This is a simple moving average cross over strategy that I built with visual jforex builder. It uses a 9 period fast EMA along with a 34 period slow SMA as its cross over signal. If the EMA is above the SMA and the EMA has been rising for the last 3 periods it initiates a BUY trade. If the EMA is below the SMA and has been falling for the last 3 periods it initiates a SELL trade. Candle close has to be above fast EMA for Buy and below EMA for Sell. I have it set to trade GBP/JPY on 15 minute timeframe with TP at, 67 pips and SL at, 48 pips. It also uses a trailing stop of 27 pips to lock in profits as it goes when market is in our favor. Future will add trend check with MACD and/or Stochastics

I wanted to try using the Visual JForex builder for the contest but I haven't been impressed by the wacky code it seems to produce and this is why. Obviously this is not at all what it is suppose to be doing so I guess April is a write off now :( Not sure why on earth this thing seems to be just opening and closing positions right after open for a small lose

I should have just stuck to writing my own code since I can actually do that ;o)

And this is why I don't trust code that I can't see. This is obviously not even close to what I told the visual programmer to write. Back tests from within the visual forex showed really good performance with it but then nothing but rapid opening and closing of positions until all the account is gone??!?! Doesn't make any sense
