Developer's blog: seventh update

Greetings,
Here is an update on what has been done during the two latest months since the previous Developer’s blog post.
As it was announced, the new Community Predictions contest has been launched. All you need to do in order to participate in this contest is to place daily predictions on currency pairs’ movements via Swiss Forex application. 2 000 USD of prize fund will be distributed between 10 most successful predictors in the end of the each month.

with sorting info by column. Now it working only on current page, but if you turn to the next page you will see that other participants also have DEMO subscriber points. We are working under fix with sorting.

Hello.
A new Community Predictions competition has been launched. If you look at the table, the question of calculating the rating immediately arises. I think it's right to show the rating calculation formula in the rules because it raises a natural question why the participant with the result of 10/0 is only the fourth result. According to the rules, he made 10 predictions and everything is accurate. This is the first result, not the fourth. To no one (and I, too) did not have questions write a formula for calculating the rating and such questions will not be.

Please support to abolish the "like" as an important factor for the outcome of the top10 competitors in the fundamental analysis.
This is totally unrealistic and incorrect towards a member who has the best ratio of accurate and incorrect outcomes, by Thursday we have 80 or 90 points from social points. and already on Friday we only have 22-28 points. this is an incorrect scoring.
I think Dukascopy should give its additional points along with a set of accurate / incorrect outcome points and this is the final result.

salamandra  thank you for the input, we will certainly add the ranking calculation formula to the contest rules. It is very simple indeed. For example to predict the movement is not enough, we also calculate the impact of the movement.

Yes. Strategy Contest itself is running on Remote Server.
It is strongly recommended to run strategy on Demo account before starting on Live accounts.

Dear CommunitySupport , please revert the changes made to the profile page of community members to the old way (maybe in a new stylish layout if necessary but conserving all or better than before). Frankly, not only is the new look totally alien when I visit my friends' profile pages but also when I access my own. Believe me, I criticize the least & only when warranted but if you wish to see a demo then I will happily oblige to present an example that possible may be way better! Least not forget that we can't perfectly recreate every aspect in terms of a new change in Dukascopy Community

agddivisas   , when doing a backtest, no! You do not need to run your strategy remotely! However, given the lag and interruptions with our own internet service providers, Dukascopy has arranged and made available their servers, which least to mention are not only secure but lightening fast. So if you want to run an automated strategy via Dukascopy's server then it is the best decision. As for the Strategy Contest, all submitted strategies run through Dukascopy servers only, unless they be corrupt and they require the intervention of Dukascopy admins, as Mr.vadim_berezhnoj  .

Congrats for winners.The amazing platform for professional peoples and many more. i joined the community recently and found  very good friends here in this platform for better guidelines also many experts here which have to be followed for better opportunity to shine individual professional skills to understand and execution of forex. the signal providers and the discussions of the peoples are very good to assume the market condition.

We are starting the Developer’s blog to inform you about the recent changes in your lovely Dukascopy Community.
As you may have noticed, some Community pages (Home, Members, News, etc.) or whole contests (Miss Dukascopy for example) have recently been redesigned, getting a new responsive view. Great news CommunitySupport  , I am already liking many of the changes and they are nothing less than great. Though only the "Community Members" search section needs tweaking. Also, can't wait to have the Dukascopy Spidey back again next year in the FA contest :D @ RahmanSL  &  al_dcdemo
