“When you have friends who can challenge you, you become a better person. Every day a little better, so by the end of a year you are 365 days better”, my grandmother says. And, well, what can I say… She is completely right.

Sticking to my marathon challenge and trying to follow what I eat yesterday I decided to go for a jog along with a few of my colleagues. Being one of those who is good with long-distance runner (I am far from sprinter) I always thought I am a lot better at running with a relatively slow speed for a longer period of time. Obviously, as you run with someone else your boundaries are being pushed a little more, especially as someone else normally tends to be a bit faster than you. And well, the result is the one as you can see below – 10 kilometers accomplished within a little more than one hour. At the end we were happy, sweaty and satisfied

Even more to that, since I decided to completely take away dairy from my nutrition my dinner after the training was simple yet delicious – a piece of tofu (150gr) with a spoon of Swedish oat yoghurt (~50gr) and a spoonful of fresh blueberries. No extra sugar, just some good and very much needed plant-based protein and vitamins.

Day #2 – accomplished.
